How to convert PDF pages to JPG images
- Name the pages you need
Leave the field blank for all of them, or list only the ones you want.
- Pick a resolution
150 DPI for anything read on a screen. 300 only if it will be printed at full size.

One page returns a single JPG. Several return a ZIP with one file per page, numbered in order.
Why this matters for exam and study documents
Pasting a question into revision notes works far better as an image than as copied text, because the diagram, the mark allocation and the layout come with it.
What is kept, what changes, and what this will not do
Taking content out of a PDF always costs something. Rendering keeps the appearance and discards the text; extraction keeps the meaning and discards the layout. There is no option that keeps both.

- JPG has no transparency. Use PDF to PNG if you need it.
Questions and answers
JPG or PNG?
JPG for pages that are mostly photographs or scans, where its compression is efficient and its artefacts are invisible. PNG for pages of text, line diagrams and graphs, where JPG compression puts visible haloes around sharp edges.
Which DPI do I actually need?
150 for screens, 300 for print. Going higher wastes space without adding anything a reader can see.
Can I convert the images back to a searchable PDF?
You can rebuild a PDF from them with JPG to PDF, but the text layer does not come back. Once a page becomes an image, only optical character recognition can make it text again. Keep the original PDF.
